About Batavia Avenue Mobil

Batavia Avenue Mobil was started as North Aurora Service Center located in North Aurora, IL about 3 miles south of our present location in 1978.

In 1981, Batavia Avenue Mobil moved to our current location on Batavia Avenue in Batavia, IL and was renamed Batavia Amoco Service.

In 2001, we rebranded to BP following the purchase of Amoco Oil Company by British Petroleum in 1999 as all stations were rebranded to the BP name.

In 2003, we purchased the property from BP/Amoco Oil Company and chose to rebrand to a Citgo station with the new name of Citgo Service Center of Batavia.

In 2010, to meet the needs of our customers and provide the best products and image, we replaced our gas pumps, replaced out lighting with new high efficiency units and added diesel fuel to our product offering.  In doing so, we elected to rebrand to Exxon Mobil Corporation with the new name of Batavia Avenue Mobil.

Throughout the years, Batavia Avenue Mobil has changed its look and brands, but continued to offer the same level of "old fashioned" service and high tech repairs.  Since the day we opened, we have continued to operate under the same ownership, retained much of the same long term staff and offered the same warranty.

We look forward to serving our customers and out community for many years in the future with our new brand and name.
